Modem Configuretion

########## To configure modem. ##########



1)To install the package kdenetwork
#yum install kdenetwork


2)To run the above command.
#kppp

3)After that follow the above steps.
configure --> Accounts --> New --> manual setup (select Add & enter the phone no & connection name (VSNL)) --> Modem --> New

(select device - give name -speed 9600) --> select Modem tab --> Query modem (for the connectivity)


4)After complet the modem installation login script display.


5)Enter the username & password.
